The last round of negotiations between East Timor and Australia over the Greater Sunrise gas field were finalized last week and the Southeast Asian nation is hoping to have a final investment decision by 2029, its petroleum minister said on Monday.

A first gas date would be 2034 or 2035, Francisco da Costa Monteiro, East Timor's Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources, said at an energy forum in Bangkok.
