The micro profiler measures sediment chemistry at micrometer resolution, by slowly inserting electrodes into the sediments over a one hour period. This instrument allows us to look at even small changes that occur in the sediments as the carbon dioxide dissolves in the sediments. Image: Copyright STEMM-CCS Project
