North Sea Crude: Forties Falls to Three-year Low

Monday, November 19, 2018

North Sea Forties crude differentials fell to a three-year low on Monday, pressured by ample prompt supplies and limited demand.

Ekofisk Delays
Some Ekofisk cargoes for loading in November have been delayed by a few days because of unplanned maintenance, trade sources said. Ekofisk Operator ConocoPhillips could not immediately be reached for comment on Monday.

Platts Window
Forties: Shell sold to Vitol a cargo loading Nov. 29-Dec. 1 at dated Brent minus $1.25, down 5 cents from a trade on Friday. That was the lowest since November 2015, Refinitiv Eikon data shows.

Brent: Vitol sold to BP a cargo loading Dec. 5-7 at dated Brent minus 85 cents.
