Ampelmann, the global leader in offshore access solutions, has opened its second office in the Middle East in a move to further expand its presence in the region. The office in Dubai (UAE) will be manned by Tim Mulders as Business Developer.

Together with the team in the already established office in Doha, Qatar, Mr. Mulders will be strengthening Ampelmann’s position in the regional market.

“This newly-manned UAE office will give clients the chance to meet face-to-face with Tim on short notice and at their convenience,” said Jayne Moran, Sales and Business Development Manager for the Middle East & Caspian regions.

“Tim has been with the company for the past five years and is an experienced project manager with a good understanding of what clients require. Moving him into a business development role in the UAE will enable Ampelmann to be closer to its clients and provide the regional support that they need.”

With growing demands for safe and efficient Walk to Work (W2W) services, this new office is the right – and necessary – way forward. Ampelmann is currently enabling multiple crew change campaigns, among which two with vessel owner Caspian Marine Services (CMS).

As many existing as well as potential clients operate in the region, Dubai is perfectly located as a hub for travel to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Saudi Arabia.

“I’m excited about my new position in the company as it will allow me to work together more closely with our clients,” said Mr. Mulders. “The new office in the UAE shows how committed Ampelmann is to the Middle East and the UAE, in particular. It will allow the company to increase its level of service with an in-country presence.”
