TransCanada Corp's Columbia Gulf Transmission unit on Friday filed with U.S. federal energy regulators to commence service on its Cameron Access natural gas project in Louisiana on March 1.
The $300 million Cameron Access projects includes a new compressor station and 27 miles (43 kilometers) of pipeline, according to the company's website
The project is designed to transport about 0.8 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) of gas to Sempra Energy's Cameron liquefied natural gas export facility in Louisiana, which is under construction
