Petrofac Clinches $40M Deal in UAE

Thursday, February 20, 2020

UK oilfield services company Petrofac has won a $40 million engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract by Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC), for a project in the United Arab Emirates.

Mani Rajapathy, Managing Director, Petrofac’s Engineering & Production Services East, said: "The award is important strategically as EPS looks to develop its track record in smaller greenfield and brownfield EPC projects."

Petrofac did not provide any further details on the project itself.

The oilfield services company has been present in the UAE since 1991. The Group employs around 3,000 people in the country.

This is the second contract award secured in the UAE by Petrofac this week. The company on Tuesday signed two contracts worth $1.65 billion with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)  to deliver offshore platforms and gas processing facilities.
