Danos Wins US Contracts

Wednesday, May 29, 2019

Danos has recently entered into a contract with an independent land company based out of Dallas, Texas, to transition 50-60 crew members in a variety of positions. The transition will take place over the coming weeks to support water transfer at water treatment facilities in Midland and Orla, Texas. Additionally, Danos has been awarded a contract to construct two saltwater disposal facilities near Carlsbad, New Mexico, for a Texas-based drilling and production company.

“This is the first time Danos has provided production personnel on this scale for a water treatment facility,” said owner Eric Danos. “And this is our first time providing turnkey saltwater disposal facilities for this particular customer in the Delaware Basin. We are honored our customers have put their trust in us and excited to partner with them while diversifying our service offerings.”

The saltwater disposal facilities project will put to work approximately 25 employees from Danos’ fabrication, construction, project management, instrumentation and electrical, and coatings service lines. The project is expected to take two months and will wrap up this summer.

“These contracts greatly expand our footprint in the heart of the Delaware Basin, which is a key area of growth for Danos and the industry,” said Danos, “and we look forward to continuing to grow our services and customer base in the area.”

Both contracts come on the heels of Danos’ recent project win to fabricate and construct a central tank battery for an independent exploration and production company in Midland. Additionally, Danos has completed multiple projects installing skids for a midstream company in the Delaware Basin near Pecos, Texas. Danos has approximately 500 employees working in the Permian and Delaware basins and is in the midst of constructing a new office in Midland, set to open this summer.
