Neptune nets Chevron diving contract

January 14, 2016

Neptune has been awarded a marine maintenance diving contract by Chevron Australia.

The contract, which is due to commence imminently, includes the provision of diving services for the facilities maintenance of Chevron’s natural gas assets in Western Australia. Neptune will perform the services from its dive support vessel, the DSV Issabelle.

As a result of this agreement, the firm expects to provide employment opportunities for two vessel masters, two Coxswains, and a five-man dive team.

CEO of Neptune Robin King said the firm is entering its fifth year of supporting Chevron’s Western Australian assets.

This follows the group’s contract from Woodside Energy for deepwater autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) service. Neptune was tasked to perform a pipeline route investigation survey on the Greater Enfield development, located approximately 40km off the northwest coast of Australia.
