Malaysia’s SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad announced that its wholly owned subsidiary has been awarded contracts in Indonesia, Vietnam and India worth up to US$171 million.
SapuraKencana TL Offshore (SKTLO) Sdn Bhd., in consortium with PT Encona Inti Industri of Indonesia has been contracted for the work of offshore and onshore pipeline installation for the Kalija 1 Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline of Kepodang Tambak Lorok Segment by PT PGAS Solution.
Scope of work comprises of the transportation and installation of 14 x 200km of gas pipeline from the offshore Kepodang field to onshore receiving facility in the Muriah PSC in Central Java, Indonesia.
On the Vietnamese-front, SKTLO will see the installation of near shore and offshore pipeline for PTSC Offshore Services Joint Stock Co., at the Thai Binh Ham Rong gas distribution system located offshore north of Vietnam.
The firm will also install topside and pipelines at the Te Giac Trang field, as well as install offshore facilities for the Thai Binh development project for PTSC Offshore Services Joint Stock Co., and PTSC Offshore Services Joint Stock Co., respectively.
In India, SKTLO will provide transportation and installation services for the PB Gas Lift Riser Replacement project situated 95km offshore northwest of Mumbai for BG Exploration and Production India Ltd.
The total value of the awards in Vietnam and India are worth $73.5 million, while the Indonesian deal amounts to $97.5 million, announced SapuraKencana in a statement.
