Acta Marine, Pacific Tug expand

October 29, 2013

Coastal ChallengerActa Marine B.V. and Pacific Tug (Aust) Pty Ltd agreed upon a strategic partnership for the Australian market. Several large port construction projects in Australia have created a demand for quality shallow-draft support vessels. This partnership gives clients access to workboat services at international quality standards, combined with a growing regional experience. The Coastal Challenger vessel will be relocated to this market and assigned to dredging and construction in Australia. The vessel will be operated under joint management, based upon Pacific Tug’s local market knowledge and Acta Marine’s shallow-draft expertise.
