Swire Oilfield Services has acquired the assets of Weir OCI creating the largest regional supplier of offshore cargo carrying units (CCU) in the Australian and Asian region, complementing Maritime Products & Services, taken over by Swire in 2008.

The three companies together will now trade as Swire Oilfield Services, able to field a fleet of over 1,800 CCUs.

Swire Oilfield Services, part of the Swire Group, is also a specialist in fitted-out (pressurised) units, helicopter fuel systems and chemical handling services.
